are all high school diplomas worth the same?

i’m thinking of taking independent studies but i’m thinking that if i join an independent studies program the high school diploma i receive from them won’t have the same value as a regular high school diploma. where you go to school for a good amount of hours oppose to going to school for just 1-2 hours 2 times a week.
