I need to know of a school that is affordable for a low income family dealing with a troubled teen. We are located in California and the teen is 14 years old female. A lot of the schools require $4.000 a month and we cannot afford that. Are there any cheaper alternatives?

My fiance’s 16 yo daughter is the cliche troubled teen: drug use, running away constantly, etc. He does not have many resources and it is obvious that she needs an in-treatment sort of boarding school. They all look ridiculously expensive. Any advice?
